About North Texas Physiatry

Dr. Alberto Lin is a board-certified physiatrist with over 15 years of experience in the field.  He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from St. George's University, where he developed a passion for physical medicine and rehabilitation.  Driven by a commitment to helping individuals overcome physical challenges, he pursued a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center. 

Dr. Lin specializes in acute inpatient rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions, including neurological, orthopedic and critical illness disease. Recognizing the uniqueness of each patient, Dr. Lin takes a patient-centered approach to care through an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.  He values open communication, actively involving his patients and family in their treatment plans, ensuring that they are well-informed and empowered throughout the rehabilitation process.  His empathetic and caring nature fosters a supportive and collaborative relationship with his patients. 

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Lin enjoys experiencing life with wife, Ann, and his three wonderful children, Lucas (15), Hannah (11) and Elijah (7). As a family, they enjoy exploring new places and cuisines through travel.  Because of this, Dr. Lin has a passion for helping patients improve quality of life by achieving functional independence through inpatient rehabilitation.
